Water running now? Call. Anything else, send the details and get a written quote.
For an emergency plumber in Seattle the phone beats every form: 206-633-1700, answered around the clock. For a clogged drain, a water heater replacement, a sewer camera run or a gas line quote, the form below reaches the shop on Aurora Ave N and a person calls you back.
01 / The job
Tell us what is leaking, blocked or cold
The more you put in the spec box, the closer the first conversation gets to a real number. Tank size and fuel, how many times the drain has backed up, the age of the house, whether there is a cleanout you can find. Nothing here is a booking and nothing is charged for sending it.
02 / After you send
What happens next, in order
- The form lands at the shop. It goes to the shop inbox on Aurora Ave N and is read by a person, not sorted by software. You see a confirmation on screen; if you gave an email, that is where any written follow-up goes.
- We call you back. Usually the same day for routine work. We ask the questions the form could not: is there a cleanout outside, is the water heater in a closet or a garage, has anyone already run a camera down the sewer.
- A site visit gets booked. We give you a window, not a minute. For a sewer line repair the visit starts with a camera inspection, priced on its own and recorded so you keep the footage.
- The written quote. On site, before tools. Parts, labor, haul-away, permit. You can sign it, sit on it or get another quote with it in hand.
- If you say no, that is the end of it. No follow-up sales calls. The inquiry stays on file for 36 months so we can see the history if you call again, and you can ask for it deleted sooner by emailing [email protected].
How inquiry data is handled, kept and deleted is set out in the privacy notice. Cookie choices are on the cookie page.
03 / Useful before the call
Five things that shorten the visit
- Find the main water shutoff and check it turns. A seized gate valve is common in pre-1960 houses and worth knowing about before 2 a.m.
- For a water heater, read the label: gallons, gas or electric, and the year. A photo of the label in the spec box is better.
- For drains, note which fixtures back up and which still run. Kitchen only points one way, every fixture on the lowest floor points another.
- Clear a path to the crawlspace hatch or basement cleanout. Boxes in front of the hatch cost time you pay for.
- Smell gas? Leave the house, call your gas utility's emergency line from outside, then call us once the utility has made it safe.
Pick "Something else" and describe it. Most sewer calls start as a "slow bathtub". The services page has the detail for each trade, and how a job runs is written out on the about page.
